About Our Office  Smith and Smith Dental Corporation is a joining of two dental practices that have served the Charleston and Kanawha Valley areas since 1939. We moved into our present location, 1501 Seventh Avenue, Charleston, WV 25312, in 1988.
Our facility is designed to provide dental care in a safe and comfortable atmosphere. On the first visit to our office, we want to become acquainted with you, and will discuss with you any concerns about your dental health that you may have. During that time, we will take a comprehensive medical and medication history. We may also do an examination and take necessary x-rays and other diagnostic tests at that time. This information will help us develop a complete diagnosis, in order to enable your dentist to determine the necessary treatment.
 Comprehensive, individualized care is important to us. We provide cosmetic, implant, prosthetic, and reconstructive services to children and adults. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral sedation is available for your comfort. Infection control is a high priority with us. Our staff undergoes regular training and certification in order to comply with OSHA and the Centers for Disease Control guidelines. We welcome new patients and are pleased to provide comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages, from pediatric to senior citizens.
